Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Roland began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality
