Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a simple green robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears bulky red painted plate armor. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Thomas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat, and is pretty ugly. He wears his red hair down. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
