History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Gerald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. A true patriot, Gerald would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
