Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Don is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his father's many stories. Don was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His head has been shaved. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and revenge

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a falchion on his belt. His silver hair is thinning but still full. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gifted student he started as a Apothecary, but he got bored and became a Miller. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and further expansion of business

Description: This man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His hair is long and silver with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
