History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
