Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Peter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Peter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a fancy brown suit. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has violet eyes and a brown hat with a black feather.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears bulky blue painted plate armor, and is pretty ugly. His hair is blonde and curly. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family.

Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
