History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with his Performer mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
