Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away
