History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Hubert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a mason and was forced into it by his family
