History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
