Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Robert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and doesn't want to be a bellfounder and was forced into it by his family
