History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. Simon was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mercenary profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
