Description: This tall, slender man wears a tan shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and green pants. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: 6'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a quarterstaff on his belt. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Robert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he is greedy

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Masseuse does. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he's looking for his big break

His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He wears a grey tunic with red highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around his shoes. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is long and brown with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. During his travels, Gerard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
