History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and balancing his hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and revenge
