Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a great chef.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Richard was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Navigator. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A 6'6" eastern man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His eyes are violet and catlike.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anselm grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He carries with him a set of maces on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He wears a simple pastel robe with yellow stripes complete with hood. He has a hunchback. He wears his silver hair down. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Chad is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and many orcs want him driven away
