Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Sage mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Percival's homeland. Percival decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lance does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Lance was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
