History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Drogo hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
