History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Adelard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his son

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Roger abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a simple pastel robe with violet stripes complete with hood. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
