Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: A 5'11" western man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, brown shirt, and black tie. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise gray.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Raymond was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: He is lean but muscular and tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born into a rich family. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has money and likes to spend it
