Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Tim abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
