Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Charles was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Interpreter. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to get a good night's sleep

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality
