History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

History: William was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this southern man tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair is golden and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Everard will drive conversation. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Nicholas was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
