History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Rolf was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cook. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
