The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
