Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he desires power and/or immortality

His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shoemaker who has hired him part-time. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: John hails from a village terrorized by brigands. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
