Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is portly but not overly obese. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to prove his worth to the world

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
