Aldous Hayes, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by brigands. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and many brigands want him driven away

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Raymond hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Tanner profession.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Tanner mother left him crippled. Recently the stress of being a Dyer has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Cory Merton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a Shoemaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Heward Shirley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears dull green sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed spear, just in case. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
