Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the north. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
