History: He comes from a rich northern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Cook father left him crippled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
