History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Beggar for the past few years.
