Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Reynard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has a crush on the local jeweler

Description: This man wears dull brown sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scythe, just in case, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has wavy auburn hair. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Rolf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To unite with his brother.
