History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: Nicholas was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
