Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. His hair is red and curly. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Lance was born the youngest of three triplets. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he usually wears his yellow robe and has his rapier always slung over his shoulder. He has shaved his head bald. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: Kody is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Beggar. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
