Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses like a well dressed Layabout does. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He carries a battered hand crossbow and tarnished shield as well. He has no hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
