Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is dressed in earthy colors with a red and grey handkerchief worn on his right side. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Reynard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Reynard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He prefers to wear violet clothing when he does not wear armor. He has a very tight haircut. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a tan vest and prefers white and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
