History: He was raised in a plains tribe. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gunter was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
