History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Randal was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Bricklayer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and further expansion of business

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Conrad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Conrad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
