In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Mayor like his father before him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He struck the Laborer job and began his own company from there.
