History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Godfrey took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Dean was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Charles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
