Description: A moderately attractive man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the right. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Odo took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: William was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and sabotage a competitor
