Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his bow. He has no hair. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Anselm was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, brown shirt, and black tie, and carries greataxes. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has brown eyes and a green hat with a brown feather.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Tim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His ears are large.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and revenge
