The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the south to a Armorer, Rolf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Armorer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Armorer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new armorer responsibilities is difficult

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Born in the west to a Bellfounder, Don learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Adventurer, but he was a colossal failure. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Don was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
