Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Richard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
