History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now mingles about in high society.
