History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
