History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
