Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ernest liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
