History: Arnold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Guy grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.
