History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Heward reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
