History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
